There are a bunch of different corporations, both large and global empires and smaller, independent businesses, that publish different categories of magazines to suit various categories such as fashion and scientific. Some institutions can publishes weekly, monthly, or yearly.

An example of a fashion magazine company would be ‘Allure.’ This magazine is centered around beauty, and it is published one a month from New York City. Allure is a worldwide corporation which is known for its expertise on beauty tips. The target audience ranges from female teenagers to women in their mid-40’s, including articles on acne for teens and facelifts for the older readers. Famous female celebrities are used as the models for the front cover images in these magazines to attract the attention of people. Allure magazine has been publishing for 30 years on women’s beauty, fitness, and health. They use bright colors and formal designs to objectively examine fashion within multiple cultures. Allure would publish my magazine because it will be directed towards women’s fashion regarding mid-income , second-hand shops. This company also has a subsidiary magazine for men’s grooming and health tips.

My fashion magazine on second-hand shops will be published locally in the United States, and rotate weekly rather than monthly. Thrift stores usually have new clothes every week, so there will be fresh content to use conveniently.
